Hondo High School’s UIL academic team won the district championship last week, scoring a total of 560 points. Nineteen HHS students will be advancing to the UIL Regional Meet in New Braunfels in three weeks. Hondo’s One Act Play, which was pictured last week after their district championship, will advance to the area meet in Seguin this coming Wednesday. See story, page 5 of The Hondo Anvil Herald.
