Malesky, Klar wed

 

     Cody Ray Klar and Allison Claire Malesky were married June 22, 2019, at The Milestone in Boerne. 

     The bride is the daughter of Lisa and David Malesky of Helotes, and granddaughter of JoAnne and Gary Malesky, of San Antonio, and Betty and Bobby Cooper, of Boerne. 

     The groom is the son of Robyn and Michael Klar, of Hondo, and grandson of Barbara and Wayne Benke of Hondo; Norma Klar of San Antonio and the late Marvin Klar; and Deborah and Louis Bauer of New Braunfels. 

     The groom’s best man was his father, Michael Klar.  Maid of Honor was the bride’s sister, Laura Malesky.

     The wedding party was comprised of Ashley and Zach Galm, McKennah and Clay McClure, Kayla and Russell Dear, and Tyler Rockowitz. Ringbearers were Ryatt Fuller and Wyatt Dear, with Lawson Fuller.  Flower girls were Kennedy Celli and Grace Vossler. 

     The bride is a Registered Nurse in San Antonio, and the groom is a conductor for Union Pacific Railroad.  

     The couple will reside on the family ranch, WB Ranches, in Hondo.

Garza, Christopher wed

 

     Chester Franklin ‘Frank’ Christopher II of New Orleans and formerly of Hondo, married Nancy Garza, also of New Orleans, in an outdoor, double-ring ceremony held at Haby Settlement Inn Guest House in Rio Medina April 20, 2019.

     Surrounded by family and friends, the couple were joined in holy matrimony by Rev. Hadley Stuart. 

     The bride, wearing a cobalt blue, knee-length dress, was escorted by her brother, David Garza, up the sidewalk to the porch where her groom awaited, as the groom’s nephew, Brian Cosgrove, sang “To Make You Feel My Love.” She carried a bouquet of pale blue hydrangeas. 

     Maid of honor was the bride’s sister, Cheryl Dellorette. Best man was Claude Cosgrove, the groom’s brother-in-law.

     Great-nephews of the groom, Waylon Christopher and August Neuman, served as ring bearers. Great-nieces, Morgan, Quinn, Kimber and Kinsley Christopher, and Kyleigh, Caroline and Emma Cosgrove, presented long-stemmed flowers to their new cousin, Eden Norton, daughter of the bride, welcoming her to the clan.

     Following the ceremony, a Texas barbecue reception was held on the family property along the Medina River.

     The couple enjoyed a pre-wedding dinner the evening before at Mi Tierra Mexican Restaurant in San Antonio with their siblings and spouses, members of the wedding party and close friends of the bride.

     Following a night on the Riverwalk in San Antonio, the couple returned home to New Orleans.
