Sackett, Groff marry in double-ring ceremony
Courtney Helene Sackett of San Antonio and Justin Michael Groff of Castroville were united in holy matrimony March 6, 2021, at St. Louis Catholic Church in Castroville. The Reverend Jim Fischler officiated the Catholic Mass.
The bride is the daughter of Chester and Barbara Sackett of Victoria, and the granddaughter of Chester Sackett Sr. and Helene Herrin, and Fred and Ruth Harding. She was attired in an ivory floor length gown with a sheer train.
Maids of Honor were Bridgett Bonneaux and Chessali Sackett. Bridesmaids were Morgan Sackett, Kelsey Mumme, Lindsey Groff and Elizabeth Kellen. They wore floor length sage green dresses of their choosing.
Flower girls were Cora Sackett and Kendall Mumme.
The groom is the son of Michael and Marcy Groff of Castroville and the grandson of Francis and Helen Lutz, and Royce and Patricia Groff. He chose a grey tuxedo and vest accented by a white tie.
Best Man was Clint Rothe. Groomsmen were Cord Mumme, Corey Sackett, Jonathan Groff, Nathan Stein, and Connor Tondre. Ushers were Daulton Wendel, Jacob Hoog, Clayton Beck, Weston Beck, and Riley Groff. Groomsmen and ushers wore a grey tuxedo and vest accented by a sage green tie.
Ringbearer was Callan Sackett. Caitlyn Rothe and Daulton Wendel gave the readings. Greeters were Megan Flanigan and Katherine Burns.
A reception, including dinner and a dance, was held at Koenig Park.
The bride is a graduate of Industrial High School and Texas A & M University, College Station. She is employed by KFW Engineers as a civil engineer.
The groom is a graduate of Medina Valley High School and Texas A & M University, College Station. He is employed by Pape-Dawson Engineers as a civil engineer.
Following a trip to Maui, Hawaii, the couple now resides in San Antonio.
