Charleah “Leah” Gay Whitley Halliburton  left us for her eternal home from San Antonio, TX on November 1, 2025 as a result of lung cancer.  She was born February 17, 1955 in Luling, Texas.  A celebration of life will be announced after the holidays when an appropriate venue for family and friends is located. She will be sorely missed.

Calvin Julius Hutzler, of Rio Medina, Texas, passed away November 29, 2025 at the age of 89. He was born December 25, 1935 in Castroville, Texas.     Visitation will be held Thursday, December 11, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. with a funeral service at 3 p.m. Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home. A private burial will take place at Mission Burial Park South in San Antonio, Texas.  Instead of flowers or donations, we ask that you take a moment to hug your loved ones and walk in the outdoors for a few minutes, an hour, or a day. Kathryn “Cappi” Phillips, 86, of Mico, passed peacefully on December 5, 2025, surrounded by love.   She was born in San Antonio, Texas, on October 3, 1939.   Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. on Monday, December 15, 2025 at Bandera Funeral Chapel,  Bandera, Texas. Funeral service will follow at 11 a.m., with Pastor Everett McCarley officiating. Burial will take place at a later date at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas.   In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Threads of Love in San Antonio.    Condolences: banderafuneralhome.com

Floyd Walter Saathoff, age 90, of Hondo went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, Dec. 4, 2025.   Floyd was born on Feb. 13, 1935 in Hondo, Texas.   The family would like to thank the caregivers who cared for dad through the years, especially Kathy Kindred who loved and attended to his many needs over the last four years.    Funeral service were held on Dec. 8, 2025, at New Fountain Methodist Church, followed by interment at Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section.    The family suggests memorials be made to New Fountain Methodist Church, or a charity of your choice.  Condolences: guinn-horger.com
