Rosemary Barrientes Escobar, age 56, of Hondo, Texas, passed away on April 12, 2024, in Hondo. Rosemary was born in Hondo, Texas on September 18, 1967.  A visitation will be held at Hondo Funeral Home on Thursday, April 18, 2024, beginning at 11:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. and concluding with interment at Hondo Cemetery.  Condolences: hondofuneralhome.com

Dolores Vargas Fuentes, age 80, passed away at her home in Castroville on Easter morning, March 31, 2024, with her family by her side. She was born July 11, 1943 in Rio Medina, Texas. The Holy Rosary was recited April 16 at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home.  The Mass of Christian Burial was held  on April 17, 2024 at St. Louis Catholic Church.
