With heavy hearts and abiding hope, we announce Mina Ann (Schuehle) Garrison, 88, was called home to our Lord and Savior on Christmas Day, December 25, 2025, in Dallas, Texas.   Mina was born on June 9, 1937 in Hondo, Texas.   A celebration of Mina’s life and memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on January 24, 2026, at Central Baptist Church in Luling, Texas. No visitation or graveside service is planned.

Oscar B. Herrera, Sr., age  99, formerly of Hondo, passed away Sunday, Jan. 4, 2026, in San Antonio.   He was born Sept. 2, 1926, in Hondo.  A funeral service was held Jan. 14, at Guinn-Horger Funeral Home Chapel with interment following at Hondo Cemetery, Guadalupe Section.  The family suggests donates to, Parkinson’s Foundation, www.parkinson.org in memory of Rosa Saathoff Herrera.     Condolences: guinn-horger.com

Marjorie Louise Knappick Marbach, age 88 of Devine, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at home with family by her side.    Margie, as family and friends called her, was born, April 29, 1937 in Leming, Texas .  Visitation will be held at Primrose Funeral Services in Devine, Texas on Friday, January 16, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m., with a funeral service beginning at 3:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Saint Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery.  The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Cal-Farley’s Boy’s Ranch at 600 SW 11th Ave, Amarillo, Texas 79101   If you would like to share a memory or express condolences, please do so at www.primrosefuneralservices.com

Joe Emery Parker, 92, of Sabinal, Texas, passed away at his residence on January 8, 2026. He was born on July 1, 1933, in Blount Springs, Alabama.  A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at 12:00 p.m., with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary in Sabinal.
