They’re engaged



     Mr. and Mrs. George Jones of Hondo are pleased to announce the engagement of their son, Garrett Ray, to Olivia Monea Hammonds, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Hammonds of Tahoka.

     The prospective groom is a 2015 graduate of Hondo High School, He will graduate from Texas A&M University in May with a B.S. in Plant & Environmental Soil Science, and has accepted employment with Helena Agri-Enterprises, LLC in Pearsall.

     The bride-to-be will graduate from Texas A&M University in December with a B.S. in Plant & Environmental Soil Science. After graduation, she will pursue a M.S. in Ag Business.

     A January 2021 wedding is planned. The couple plans to reside in Hondo.


Koch, Timberlake to marry
They’re engaged


     The engagement of Devan Glee Hartung, daughter of Michele Hartung of Hondo and the late Bobby Hartung, to Andrés Antonio González, son of Dr. Juan and Dora González of Houston, is announced by the bride’s mother.

     The bride-to-be is a 2011 graduate of Hondo High School and a 2015 graduate of St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, where she earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Management. Devan is employed as the store director for Target in Clear Lake Shores, Texas. She is the granddaughter of the late Robert and Barbara Pope and the late Jack and Frances Hartung.

      The prospective groom is a 2011 graduate of St. Thomas High School in Houston. Andrés received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from St. Mary’s University  in 2015 and earned his Master’s Degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology from University of Houston-Clear Lake in 2017. He is employed as a change management consultant for Perficient, an IT solution-based consulting firm.
