D’Hanis/Sabinal softball falls in two games at Sectionals

Ingram -- The District 21 champion D’Hanis/Sabinal Minor Division Softball All-Stars ran into some tough competition over the weekend in the Texas West Section 3 Tournament at the Ingram Little League Fields.

The D/S team fell to District 26 champ Medina Valley in the Friday, June 26, opening game, then dropped an elimination contest to District 35 winner Eagle Pass on Saturday, June 27. Medina Valley was the eventual Sectional champ.

Elsewhere among District 21 champions, most had been eliminated from their Sectional tournaments at a wide variety of locations by the end of the day on Sunday.
