A rainy spell over the last few days, including some distant lightning on Tuesday night, has passed through the area, leaving Medina County with precip totals in the neighborhood of three inches. The moisture worked quickly, turning a potted hibiscus from nothing but green leaves into blossoms and buds in just 48 hours.
