American Legion Hal Jones Post 128 Commander Brad Price and Vice Commander Rick Werner (second and seventh from left) provided a flag disposition box for collecting torn and tattered U.S. and Texas flags. The box, created by Hondo High School wood shop and art department classes, was presented to Hondo Garden Club members Monday, September 7. Accepting the box (from left) were Rosa López, visitor; HGC members Miriam Lopez, Donna Reeh, Felice Treviño, Olga Duran, Elena Villarreal and (standng next to the box) HGC President Mindy Coyne.
