Early voting starts Tuesday for primary elections

The primary elections for 2026 are now less than three weeks away, with election day set for Tuesday, March 3.

Early voting will run from Tuesday, Feb. 17 to Friday, Feb. 27. Medina County’s three polling places during early voting include:

• Medina County Courthouse Annex, 1300 Ave. M, Hondo;

• Medina County Pct. 2 Annex, 8366 FM 471 South, Castroville; and

• Medina County Pct. 4 Annex, 317 State Hwy 132 North, Devine.

The schedule at all three early voting locations will be:

* Tues.-Fri., Feb. 17-20, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.;

* Sat., Feb. 21, 7 a.m.-7 p.m.

* Sun., Feb. 22, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

* Mon.-Fri., Feb. 23-27, 7 a.m.-7 p.m.

For those wishing to vote absentee, the last day to apply for a ballot by mail is Friday, Feb. 20. An application to vote by mail may be found on the Medina County website, medinatx.gov.
