Hondo track takes 2 events in Karnes City

 

     Karnes City -- Both the Hondo boys’ and girls’ varsity track teams finished third in the team standings last Friday, Feb. 27, in the Karnes City Relays.

     Each team got a single first place finish in an individual field event. Mason Barr was the winner in the pole vault, while Shanell Rivera claimed the long jump.

     Randolph was the runaway team champion in all divisions.

     This Friday, the Owls will go to the Pirate Relays in Lytle.
