Hondo athletes place well in tough field

 

     Uvalde -- Hondo athletes finished in the middle of a crowded field last Thursday in the Uvalde Relays.

     The varsity boys finished eighth and the varsity girls placed tenth.

     This Friday, the Owls will go to the Karnes City Relays.

 

UVALDE RELAYS

HONDO Varsity Boys (8th)

Shot put: 3) Colton Wiemers, 42’1”; 4) TJ Stanukinos, 41’3”;

Triple jump: 4) Nolan Graff, 38’11.5”;

Pole vault: 4) Brice Terrill, 8’0”; 

4x200m relay: 6) Twister Kluth, Lindell Johnson, Ryan Reyes, Kyron Rodriguez, 1:35.56;

200m dash: 5) Twister Kluth, 22.93.

HONDO Varsity GIRLS (10th)

Shot put: 5) Nadia Avila, 26’5.5”;

Discus: 6) Isabella Rodriguez, 72’4”;

Long jump: 5) Kayla Buerger, 13’5.5”

110m hurdles: 2) Lauren Scott, 18.06;

300m hurdles: 6) Lauren Scott, 55.83.
