Old Fashioned Christmas comes to Castroville Friday

Castroville’s annual Old Fashioned Christmas celebration opens its gates Friday at 6 p.m. in the heart of downtown.

The two-day event on Houston Square goes from 6-9 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday.

Sponsored by the Castroville Area Chamber of Commerce, Old Fashioned Christmas features vendors who offer Christmas-themed crafts, woodworking, handmade jewelry, candles and crocheted goods, plus food and live entertainment.

Kids can visit with Santa Claus and then have fun playing in the kids’ area.
