Lady Jackets scrimmage at Cole Friday

 

     Volleyball practice began Monday. Aug. 3, for the Sabinal Lady Jackets.

Both of Sabinal’s scrimmages will be on the road this season, with a trip to Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio to visit Cole on Friday, Aug. 7, at 9 a.m.

     On Saturday, Aug. 8, also at 9 a.m., the Lady Jackets will go to Utopia. 

The regular season opens Tuesday, Aug. 11, at SHS, with a dual match, including the Lady Jackets, Carrizo Springs and Utopia. That will begin at 10 a.m.

     The team will compete in the D’Hanis Tournament beginning next Thursday, Aug. 13, at 9 a.m. In the Lady Jackets’ pool are Knippa, Medina and Junction.  Teams will play a round-robin to earn seeding spots in Saturday’s final bracket. In the other pool are D’Hanis, Utopia, Center Point and Leakey.
