$105,000 budget amendment marked for business loans
By Rosanne Fohn Anvil Herald Reporter With Hondo City Council’s passage of a $105,000 budget amendment Monday night, Hondo businesses are one step closer to being able to apply for up to $35,000 in 0% small-business loans. The Hondo Economic Development Corporation requested the budget amendment for its Small Business Development Program. D’Hanis band places 8th at state; MOB final band in 3A prelims
The D’Hanis Pride Band finished just one spot out of advancing to the finals of the UIL 1A State Marching Band Contest, held Tuesday at the Alamodome. The band, performing its “Wizard of Oz” themed show, placed eighth out of 14 bands in Tuesday morning’s prelims. The top seven finishing bands from prelims advanced to the finals that evening.
