Hondo girls’ golf wins Natalia Tournament

 

     Devine -- Hondo girls’ golf was crowned champions of the Natalia Tournament last Wednesday, March 5, shooting a team score of 400 at the Devine Municipal Golf Course.

     Ava Lowe was second medalist with a 94. Grace Wilson was 4th with a 100 and Carynn Jacobs was 5th with a 101.

Jourdanton finished second with a team total of 408.

     Hondo’s golf teams will play in the district preview in the coming week at Mission del Lago in San Antonio. The boys will play on Monday, March 17 and the girls will go on Wednesday, March 19.

     The District 28-3A tournament will be back at Mission del Lago on March 27 and 31.
