Ines Aguallo age 93, of Natalia, passed away Saturday March 25, 2006, at her residence. Rosary was recited at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Mar. 28. Funeral Mass was held Mar. 29, 2006, at St. John Bosco Catholic Church, Natalia. Interment followed in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Devine.

Nancy C. Applewhite, age 47, of Leakey, passed away March 4, 2006, at her residence. She was born May 26, 1958, in Uvalde. Memorial service was held Sunday in the Nelson Funeral Home Chapel in Leakey.

Lee Roy Baker, age 88, of Hondo, passed away Friday, March 31, 2006. He was born March 3, 1918, near Altus, OK. Funeral service, officiated by Pastor David Mayer, was Tuesday, Apr. 4, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hondo. Burial was at Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section.

Dorothy Lee (Muennink) Beard of Hondo passed away Thursday, March 9, 2006, at the age of 60, in San Antonio. She was born July 14, 1945, in Hondo. The funeral service, officiated by Pastor Charles Parker, was Saturday, March 11, at New Fountain United Methodist Church. Interment was at Hondo Cemetery, Oak-wood Section.

Jack Bond, age 90, of Gatesville, and formerly of Natalia, passed away Friday, March 10, 2006, in Temple. He was born in Coryell County, Dec. 27,
1915. Graveside services were Sunday, March 12, at Evergreen Cemetery with Pastor Keith Dennis officiating.

Edward Rohlf "Booty" Breiten was born November 3, 1918, in Langtry. He died March 15, 2006, in San Marcos at the age of 87, after a lengthy stay at Care Inn of San Marcos. His children, Mike Breiten, Kay King, Ann Kelley, Sandra Cogburn and April Breiten invite you to join them Saturday, March 25, 2006, at 3 p.m. at
Lytle United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, for a casual gathering to share photos and memories.

Ella Sprott Britsch, age 95, of Kerrville, formerly of Bandera, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2006, in a Kerrville care center. She was born on June 13, 1910, in Medina County. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, March 15, at Garden of Memories in Kerrville with Pastors George Schultz and Carl Biermann of Grace
Lutheran Church officiating.

Arthur A. "Sonny" Brucks Jr. of Hondo, age 78, passed away March 17, 2006, in Houston. He was born Feb. 2, 1928, in Hondo. Visitation Thursday, March 23, 5 to 8 p.m., with Rosary recited at 7 p.m. at Guinn-Horger Chapel in Hondo. Funeral service at 2 p.m. Friday, March 24, at Guinn-Horger Chapel.

Santos O. Chacon, age 90, of Poteet, formerly of Natalia, passed away Monday, March 27, 2006, in Natalia. Rosary was recited March 29, at the Chapel of Hurley Funeral Home, Devine. Funeral Mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 30, 2006, at St. John Bosco Catholic Church. Interment to follow in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery.

Sylvia Q. Constante of Hondo, age 51, passed away March 18, 2006, in San Antonio. She was born April 21, 1954, in Hondo. Rosary was recited Tuesday, Mar. 21, and Funeral Mass, officiated by Rev. Jeff Pehl, was Wednesday, March 22, both at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Hondo. Interment was at Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section.

Judy Dianne (Eichholtz) Devine of Hondo, age 55, passed away Monday, Mar. 6, 2006, in San Antonio. She was born Dec. 27, 1950, in D'Hanis. Memorial service, officiated by Pastor David Mayer, was on Friday, Mar. 10, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hondo.

Clint Dowell, age 80, long-time resident of Bandera, passed away Saturday, Mar. 11, 2006, in Cedar Creek Nursing Center, Bandera. He was born in Glen Rose, on Oct. 24, 1925. Funeral service was held Monday, Mar. 13, 2006, at Grimes Funeral Chapel with Mr. Martin Smith officiating. Clint was laid to rest in Bandera
Cemetery with graveside service.

Margaret Lee Evans, age 82, of Bandera, passed away Friday, Mar. 24, 2006, at her residence. She was born on April 12, 1923, in Kerrville. Services were held March 30, at Bandera United Methodist Church, with Rev. Everett Boyce officiating. Interment followed in Bandera Cemetery.

Jacob Fisher, age 30, of Hondo, formerly of Sudan/Muleshoe, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2006, in Hondo. He was born Dec. 5, 1975, in Amherst. Funeral service was Friday, March 24, at First Baptist Church, Muleshoe, with Dr. Stacy Conner and Rev. Robert Roecker officiating. Interment followed in Littlefield Memorial Park Cemetery, Littlefield.

Marilyn Sue (Vincent) Freier of Quihi/Hondo passed away March 8, 2006, at the age of 65. She was born October 3, 1940, in Nederland. Graveside service, officiated by Frank Perkins, minister, was Saturday Mar. 11, at the Hondo Cemetery, Oak-wood Section.

Alton Edward Haile of Hondo passed away on March 29, 2006, at the age of 82, in Hondo. He was born Sept. 21, 1923, in San Antonio. The memorial service, officiated by Michael Weaver and Pastor Charlie Parker, was Saturday, Apr. 1, at the New Fountain United Methodist Church. A gathering of family and friends followed in the church activity center.

Irvin A. Kilhorn, age 82, of Castroville, passed away March 14, 2006. Irvin was born Oct. 18, 1923, in Castroville. Rosary recited Friday, March 17, at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home in Castroville. Funeral Mass was on Saturday, Mar. 18, at St. Louis Catholic Church. Interment was at St. Louis Catholic Cemetery, Castroville.

Ora Mae Meli, age 75, of Ft. Stockton passed away Saturday, Mar. 11, 2006, in Odessa. She was born in Sabinal on Nov. 19, 1930. Funeral service was held on Thursday, Mar. 16, at the First Presbyterian Church in Ft. Stockton.

James Maxwell Meneley Sr. age 90, of Devine, passed away Monday, March 6, 2006, at his residence. He was born Nov. 25, 1915, in Gonzales. Visitation held Thursday, Mar. 9, 2-9 p.m., at the Hurley Funeral Home in Devine. Funeral service held at 9 a.m. Friday, Mar. 10, in the Chapel of Hurley Funeral Home, Devine. Interment held at 2 p.m., Friday at the Woodmen of the World Cemetery in Gonzales, TX.

Lillie Belle Fowler Morris, age 94, of Devine and formerly of Ingram, passed away Friday, Mar. 24, 2006. Graveside service was conducted at Tuesday, Mar. 28, at Nichols Cemetery in Ingram.

Sylvia Marie Mueller of D'Hanis passed away Thursday, Mar. 2, 2006, at the age of 93, in San Antonio. She was born Oct. 31, 1912, in D'Hanis. Rosary was recited at 2:30 p.m. Monday, Mar. 6, followed by Funeral Mass, both officiated by Rev. Wallis J. Stiles at Holy Cross Catholic Church, D'Hanis. Interment was at Holy Cross Cemetery in D'Hanis.

Mrs. Herman Mund, nee Mamie Bertha Houy, age 93, of Fredericksburg, passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2006. She was born in Gillespie County, May 31, 1912 . Graveside service and interment was in Der Stadt Friedhof Cemetery, Saturday, Mar. 18 with Chad Mund officiating.

Maria Socorro Garcia Narvaez, age 53, of San Antonio, passed away Mar. 23, 2006. Maria was born Feb. 6, 1953, in Castroville. Rosary was recited Monday, Mar. 27, at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home in Castroville. Funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, Mar. 28, at the St. Louis Catholic Church in Castroville. Interment followed the Mass at St. Louis Catholic Cemetery, Castroville.

Tina O'Neal, age 45, of Devine, passed away Monday, March 6, 2006, in Devine. She was born in Logansport, LA, on March 13, 1960. Funeral service was Wednesday, Mar. 8, at Hurley Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Keith Dennis officiating. Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery.

Mary Josephine Pierce, age 92, of Castroville, passed away March 23, 2006. Mary was born May 12, 1913, in Brownwood. Funeral Service was held Monday, Mar. 27, at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home, Castroville. Interment followed the service at Castroville Community Cemetery in Castroville.

Alex G. Quintanilla, age 72, of Hondo passed away March 7, 2006, in San Antonio. He was born August 26, 1933, in Hondo. Eva Cuellar Rodriquez, age 83, of Castroville passed away March 11, 2006. Eva was born May 1, 1922, in La Coste. Rosary was recited on Tuesday, Mar. 14, at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home in Castroville. Funeral Mass was held Wednesday, Mar. 15, at St. Louis Catholic Church in Castroville. Interment was at St. Louis Catholic Cemetery,
Castroville.

Frutoso "Fred": Sauceda of Hondo, age 77, passed away March 16, 2006, in San Antonio. He was born Jan. 21, 1929, in Biry. Funeral service was Monday, Mar. 20, at First Baptist Church in Hondo, officiated by Pastors Ruben Sauceda and Samuel Sauceda. Interment was in Hondo Cemetery, Guadalupe Section.

Francisca A. Salinas, age 72, of Knippa, passed away March 4, 2006, at her residence. She was born May 13, 1933, in Sabinal. Mass of the Resurrection was celebrated Monday, Mar. 6, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Sabinal. Interment followed in St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery in Sabinal.

Linda Nell Haynes Schmidt, age 62, of Hondo passed away Tuesday, Mar. 28, 2006, at her home. She was born Nov. 18, 1943, in Johnson City. The funeral service, officiated by Rev. Beverly Burk and Rev. Ricky Burk, was held Thursday, March 30, at First United Methodist Church of Hondo. Interment was at Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section.

Marion Martin Schneider, age 80, of Castroville, passed away Mar. 24, 2006. Marion was born Nov. 18, 1925, in Castroville. Funeral Mass was held on Sunday, Mar. 26, at St. Louis Catholic Church,
Castroville. Prayer Service was held Monday, Mar. 27, at 2 p.m. at Ton-dre-Guinn Funeral Home, Castroville. Interment followed the Prayer Service at St. Louis Catholic Cemetery, Castroville.

Lillian Jane Porter Stearns was born November 28, 1920, in St. Paul, MN. She left this earth to be with Jesus on Sunday, March 19, 2006. Funeral service at 2 p.m. Thursday, Mar. 23, at First
Baptist Church, Hondo.

Mary E. Dubose Stehle, age 77, of Devine passed away Sunday, March 19, 2006. Funeral service was held Wednesday, Mar. 22, in the Chapel of the Hurley Funeral Home, with Dr. T. Glenn Young and Pastor Myron Ricketts officiating. Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery.

Msgr. George H. Stuebben Jr., age 77, longtime church leader, passed away March 1, 2006, in San Antonio. He was born in San Antonio on Dec. 23,
1928. Rosary was Sunday, Mar. 5, at St. John Neumann Parish, followed by a Mass of Thanksgiving, celebrated by his brother, Lawrence, with homily delivered by Msgr. Emil J. Wesselsky. Archbishop José H. Gomez was principal celebrant at the Mass of Thanksgiving on Monday, Mar. 6, at St. Joseph's Church Downtown. Burial
followed at St. Joseph's Society Cemetery. Concelebrants were priests of the Archdiocese of San Antonio, classmates of his, and military chaplains. Msgr. Lawrence J. Stuebben delivered the homily.

Lois Anne Taft, age 76, of Leavenworth, KS, formerly of Hondo, passed away Wednesday, Mar. 8, 2006. She was born May 29, 1929. Interment was at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antono.

George Sidney Taylor, Sr. of Hondo, went to be with the Lord on March 24, 2006, at the age of 62, in San Antonio. He was born Jan. 12, 1944. Funeral service, officiated by Pastor Charles Parker ,was Monday, Mar. 27, at New Fountain United Methodist Church. Interment followed at the New Fountain Cemetery.

Pedro A. Treviño Sr., age 71, of Uvalde, passed away March 31, 2006. He was born on Feb. 24, 1935, in Hondo. Mass of the resurrection was celebrated Monday, Apr. 3, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Ken Dakin officiating. Interment followed in Hondo Cemetery.

Werner A. Wieboldt, age 92, of Kerrville, passed away March 8, 2006, at a Kerrville care center. He was born Dec. 29, 1913, in Chicago. No service is planned.
