HABA golf tournament this Sunday
The 2nd Annual Hondo Athletic Booster
Association Golf Tournament, to benefit Hondo ISD athletics, is planned
for this Sunday, June 22, at the Alsatian Golf Course in Castroville.
Cost is $75 per player, or $300 for a team of
four. Cash prizes will be awarded based upon the total number of
registrants. Hole sponsorships are available for $100 each.
Lunch, featuring hamburgers and sausage wraps, will be served at noon.

All proceeds from the tournament go to the Hondo ISD athletic program.
All the boys’ and girls’ teams, at Hondo High School and McDowell
Middle School, have benefitted from HABA’s fundraising efforts since
the club’s inception in 2005. The three-year total of donations to the
athletic program is approximately $60,000.
