BUSY GALS… Hondo Girl Scout Troop #338 took along the Anvil Herald on their Spring Break adventures together. They had a full week: Sunday,the girls went skating in San Antonio; Monday, bike-riding in Hondo; Tuesday, attended the high school softball game in Devine; Wednesday, went to Sea World, and Friday, a trip on an Amtrak train to Austin where they toured the State Capitol building (above) and Austin’s Children Museum, returning on the train the same evening. Troop members (back row, from left) Alexis Gonzales, Mia Garcia, Paige Smith, (middle, from left) Kianna Ybarra, Kaley Ledesma, Megan Buerger, Vivianna Sopal and (holding newspaper) Malie Sopel enjoyed the week of activities and earned several patches. Troop Leader Ida Garcia (not pictured) accompanied the troop.
