Helvey, Jemelka to marry
Faron Helvey of Anderson and Juanita Helvey of Hondo are pleased to
announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter,
Lauren Brooke, to Bradley Hagan Jemelka, son of Mark and Cindy Jemelka
of Yoakum.
Lauren is the granddaughter of Frank and Marilyn Helvey of Hondo,
Maria Carabajal and the late Victor Carabajal of Bedford. Bradley is the
grandson of Daniel and Lillie Jemelka of Yoakum, Virginia Hagan and the
late A.R. Hagan of Yoakum.
A 2007 graduate of Hondo High School, Lauren will graduate with an
Agriculture Science degree from Texas A&M University and will
continue her education with a master’s degree in communication
disorders.
Bradley is a 2003 graduate of Yoakum High School and is currently
pursuing a career in cattle auctioneering.
The couple plans to wed July 3, 2010, at St. John the Evangelist
Catholic Church in Hondo.
