The bride is the daughter of Randy and Jyl Cain of San Antonio.

Happily ever after…

Annette and Chris Stiegler eloped December 21, 1963, and were married in Lordsburg, NM. On the occasion of their 25th anniversary, in 1988, they renewed their wedding vows in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Last month, they celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in Costa Rica, again reciting their vows, this time before a priest named Jesus. “Chris has always given me a rose for every year we are married,” said Annette. “This year it was to be 50 red roses, but they were not available in Costa Rica, so instead I got a huge arrangement of local flowers.” The happy couple has two sons, Travis and his wife, Bridget, of Phoenix, and Chris and his wife, Jennifer, of Hondo, and nine grandchildren.
