Jerry “JJ” Porter Washam, Jr.
Russell
and Dolores Guinn of Castroville are happy to announce the
engagement of their daughter, Kristen Heather Guinn to Jerry “JJ”
Porter Washam, Jr., son of Geraldine Washam and Jerry Washam, both of Dallas.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of William
P. “Bud” and Jeannine Guinn of Hondo and Edna Weynand of
Castroville and the late Melvin Weynand.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Ross Washam
of Dallas and the late Alicia Washam.
Kristen, a 1998 graduate of Medina Valley High
School, received her BS in Fashion Merchandising from SouthWest Texas
State University.
She is a member of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority.
Kristen is employed by Ameriprise Financial in Houston as a financial
planner.
JJ is a 1999 graduate of Highland Park High
School and received his BS in Construction Science from Texas A&M
University. He was a member of the Corps of Cadets. JJ is employed by
Vaughn Construction in Houston as a project manager.
The couple plans to wed October 18, 2008 at St.
Louis Catholic Church in Castroville.
