TAKING IN NATIONAL TREASURES… Irene and Sam Dubberly read the Anvil Herald in front of an Easter Island Stone figure at the Museum of Natural History in Washington, DC., during their two-week trip to Virginia and the DC area. They visited historical sites and museums in Yorktown, Jamestown and Williamsburg, while Sam attended an Association of Conference Directors of Lay Speaking Ministries Conference in Williamsburg, VA. Later, they traveled to the DC area and visited a D’Hanis High School friend who accompanied them to historical locations in the area. They also were able to enjoy a good four-inch snow on arrival and another small snowstorm just before departing.
