GREEK VACATIONÖ While studying for five weeks this summer at Deree, an American college located in an area called Aghia Paraskevi on the edge of Athens, Greece, Elizabeth Lutz, daughter of John and Sylvia Lutz of DíHanis, took the Anvil Herald along as she visited some wonderful sites. They included the Acropolis (the Parthenon and the Erechtheion) pictured above, the new Acropolis Museum, Theatre of Dionysus, the Temple of the Olympian Zeus and the Arch of Hadrian. She shopped in Monastiraki and the Plaka, climbed Mount Lycabettus (the highest point in Athens) at sunset, traveled to Sounion to see Poseidonís Temple, rode donkeys and went cliff diving on the Island of Hydra. She stayed on the Island of Paros, took an all-day sailing trip and swam in clear, turquoise water, sometimes through caves.
