Katie Manka and Byron Schirmer
Manka, Schirmer to wed
Pam and Armand Manka are pleased to announce the
engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Katie Manka, to
Byron Schirmer. Byron is the son of Dennis and Loretta Saathoff Schirmer of
Corpus Christi.
Katie is the granddaughter of Mike Swierc and the late
Joy Swierc of Falls City and the late Elizabeth and Frank Manka of Panna Maria.
Byron is the grandson of Velma Saathoff and the late
Ehme and Lucille Saathoff of Hondo and the late Walter and Dorothy Schirmer.
Katie will be graduating from Texas State University-
San Marcos in May, 2008 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education. She
plans to begin a career in teaching in the fall.
Byron graduated from The University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor
of Science Degree in Criminal Justice in 2005. He is
currently employed as an Ad valorem Tax Consultant with Arthur P.
Veltman and Associates in San Antonio.
Byron and Katie are planning to wed May 17, 2008, at
St. Mathew Catholic Church in San Antonio.
