Mills, Cortez engaged
Tommy and Cherilyn Mills of Naples, announce
the engagement of their daughter, Melanie Kay Mills, to Brandon
Matthew Cortez, son of Linda Cortez of San Antonio.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Wanda
Mills of Naples. The prospective groom is the grandson of Ramon and
Rosa Cortez of Hondo.
Melanie is a 2003 graduate of Baylor
University, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in
Education and is currently employed with the Allen Independent
School District as a fourth grade teacher.
Brandon is a 2004 graduate of Baylor
University, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in
Forensics. He is currently serving in Iraq with the United States
Marine Corps. After his tour of duty, he will return to work for
Boehringer Ingelheim as a pharmaceutical sales representative.
The ceremony will be held Saturday, June 7,
2008, at the First
United Methodist Church in Naples.
