Hondo Owls Tailgate Party
Join Hondo ISD for a tailgate party. It will be an “owlstanding”
family time. Friday, Oct. 17, 5:30-7 p.m. in the high school

The 52nd annual Faseler Reunion will be Saturday, Oct. 18, at
Yancey United Methodist Church. Registration is at 11 a.m. Bring

Hallow Fest in Koenig Park
Hallow Fest returns to Koenig Park Saturday, Oct. 18, 6-9
p.m. This annual event is coordinated and staffed for the
community by parents, teachers and students from St. Louis
Catholic School. Anyone in costume is welcome to join the
costume parade at 8 p.m. Tickets for games, attractions, food

Pot Luck Dinner
The American Legion Post 128 fall “pot luck” dinner
meeting will be held Monday, Oct. 20, 6 p.m., at St. Paul

Meyer Elementary is starting a new volunteer program, Watch
D.O.G.S.-Dads of Great Students. The goal is to get more male
role models involved in education. All dads, step-dads,
grandfathers, uncles, and brothers are invited to come find out
more about this volunteer program at a kick-off event Monday,
Oct. 27, 6-8 p.m., at the school cafeteria. Pizza, salad, and

Huajilla Unit of TRTA
The Huajilla Unit of the Texas Retired Teachers Association
will meet Monday, Oct. 27, 10 a.m. at Hondo’s First United
Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. Andrew Murr, Candidate for

business meeting will follow and lunch will be catered by Seco
