Hondo Public Library is offering the following classes:

Sabinal ISD substitute teacher training

Tex Hill Wing CAF

The Tex Hill Wing of the Commemorative Air Force meets monthly at the Hondo airport terminal. The next mtg. will be Sunday, Sept. 19 at 2 p.m. as there will not be an August mtg. The public is welcome. The CAF is a Texas-based non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and showing historical, military aircraft at air shows primarily throughout the U.S. and Canada. Zumba: Women’s health and fitness

HHS Supp. Ed. Srvs.

HHS will continue offering Supplemental Education Services to qualified students through most of July. Hondo High School’s participation in the School Improvement Program, which is part of the No Child Left Behind legislation, requires that these academic services will be offered to economically disadvantaged students until the school is notified that Adequate Yearly Progress has been attained for the second consecutive year.
