TEXAS COMMUNITY

DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG)

Medina County will hold a public hearing at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 23, 2014, at the Medina County Judge’s Office, 1502 Avenue K, Hondo, Texas 78861 regarding the Texas Department of Agriculture’s CDBG Program. Citizens are encouraged to attend to discuss the citizen participation plan, local housing and community development needs, available funding, eligible activities, past use of funds, and development of CDBG applications. Written comments may also be submitted to the County Judge’s Assistant at the address above. Persons with disabilities or others requiring auxiliary aids or services to participate in this hearing should make arrangements with the County Judge’s Assistant at 830-741-6021 at least two days before the hearing. Medina County Commissioners’ Court is seeking bids for the purchase of one (1) 2015 Ford F-250 crew cab for the Emergency Management Department and one (1) 2015 Ford F-150 super cab for the Environmental Health Group. Prospective bidders may obtain bid form/specifications at the County Judge’s Office, 1502 Avenue K, Room 201, Hondo, TX, calling (830) 741-6020 or on Medina County’s website www.medinacountytexas.org. Sealed bids will be accepted at the County Judge’s Office, until 2:00 P.M., Friday October 24, 2014. At that time bids will be publicly opened and read. Commissioners Court will accept and award bids on Monday, October 27, 2014 during its regular meeting.

Medina County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
