Erlene Isabell Baker, age 94, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great- grandmother, passed away peacefully Sunday,
April 3, 2005, at a Kerrville care center, into eternal rest with her Lord. Funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 7, at Guinn-Horger Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at the Yancey Community Cemetery.

Dorothy Sue Booker, age 52, went quietly into the arms of Jesus on April 27, 2005, in Phoenix, AZ. She was the beloved wife of Larry Booker, former pastor of New Fountain United Methodist Church. Dorothy asked that instead of flowers at her home-going celebration in Cheyenne, WY, that any memorial gifts to be given to Banner Gardens Hospice House, 7231 E. Broadway Road, Mesa, Arizona 85208, for their loving care during her last days on earth.

Alberta G. Clark, age 69, of Bandera, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2005, in a Kerrville hospital. On December 23, 1935, she was born in Sealy. A memorial service was held Monday, April 25, 2005, at 11 a.m. at Bandera United Methodist Church with Rev. Dennis Thompson of San Antonio officiating. Following the service, a reception was held at the Silver Sage Senior Activity Center.

James Earl (Jim) Cooper, age 48, met his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on April 10, 2005 following complications from surgery to remove a benign brain tumor. Jim was born Nov. 4, 1956 in Kingsville, TX. A funeral service at 10 a.m. Thursday at Sugar Land First United Methodist Church. Private burial in Hondo. The family received visitors at St. Paul Lutheran Church Activity Center on Friday, Apr. 15, from 3 to 5 p.m.

Dorothy Molly Corzine, age 81, of San Antonio, passed away on April 3, 2005. She was born in Galveston, on Nov. 4, 1923. Funeral service was held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 6, at the Rushing -Estes- Knowles Chapel in Sabinal. Interment in Sabinal Cemetery with Rev. Walter Hoke officiating.

Trevor Joseph Elliott, age 7, of Castroville, entered into rest April 13, 2005. He was born November 16, 1997 in San Antonio. Trevor was a first grade student at Medina Valley Elementary School. His loving mother, Diana Jo Norman and sweet sister, An-gelique Danette Riou preceded him in death. Survivors include his father, Robert C. Elliott of San Antonio. Visitation for Trevor, his mother and sister was at Tondre-Guinn Funeral
Home Sunday, April 17. A rosary for them was recited Sunday at 7 p.m. at St. Louis Catholic Church, Castroville. Funeral Mass was held Monday, April 18, 10:30 a.m., at St. Louis Catholic Church. Interment was at St. Louis Catholic Cemetery, Castroville.

Veda Evelyn Blasingame Finger was born in El Paso, Arkansas, on July 13, 1919. She passed away on April 19, 2005, after a five month battle with cancer. Visitation was held Thursday, April 21, at Guinn-Horger Funeral Home. Rosary and Funeral Mass were held Friday, April 22, beginning at 9:30 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Hondo. Entombment followed at St. John's Mausoleum, Hondo Cemetery.

Dorothy Rawlings Finto, 60, of Devine, passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2005. She was born January 1, 1945, in Needeville. Funeral services were held Monday, May 2, at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of the Hurley Funeral Home. Interment was at Fairview Cemetery, Fairview.

Ester Flores Garza, born December 26, 1934, in Martindale, Texas, entered into rest on April 5, 2005, at the age of 70. Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home open for visitation on Thursday, April 7, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 7 p.m. The Funeral Mass Friday at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in La Coste. Interment was in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, La Coste.

Nelda Huschke, age 63, of Jourdanton, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2005. She was born July 24, 1941, in Frio County. Funeral service was held Tuesday, May 3, at 10 a.m. at St. Matthew's Catholic Church in Jourdanton. Interment was at St. Matthew's Catholic Cemetery in Jourdanton.

Henrietta Marie Keller Kempf, age 88, of La Coste, entered into rest Apr. 9, 2005, in San Antonio. She was born Jan. 22, 1917, in La Coste. Visitation was Tuesday, Apr. 12, with the rosary recited at 7 p.m. at the Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home. Funeral Mass was Wednesday, Apr. 13, at 12 noon at St. Anthony Claret Catholic Church, San Antonio. Interment was at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio.

Mrs. John T. (Della) King, of Georgetown passed away April 28, 2005. She was born November 12, 1937. No more information at this time.

Agnes Josephine Tondre Mechler, age 95, of Castroville, passed away April 15, 2005, in San Antonio. She was born in Bexar County, on March 4, 1910. A memorial service held on Saturday, April 23, 10 a.m., at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home in Castroville. Interment of her ashes at St. Louis Catholic Cemetery, Castroville.

Diana Jo Norman, age 43, of Castroville, entered into rest April 13, 2005. She was born April 28, 1961, in San Antonio. Visitation for Diana, her daughter and son was at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home Sunday, April 17. A rosary for them was recited Sunday at 7 p.m. at St. Louis Catholic Church, Castroville. Funeral Mass was held Monday, April 18, 10:30 a.m., at St. Louis Catholic Church. Interment was at St. Louis Catholic Cemetery, Castroville.

Tommy L. Palmer Jr., age 78, of Sabinal, passed away April 9, 2005 in Medina Community Hospital in Hondo. He was born in Gilmer on Jan. 28, 1927. Funeral services at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 14, at First Baptist Church in Sabinal with Rev. Monty Benson officiating. Interment followed in Sabinal Cemetery.

Margarita T. Palomo, age 89, passed away, April 27, 2005. She was born in Mexico on Aug. 10, 1915. The Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. on Sunday, May 1, at the Guinn-Horger Chapel. Funeral Mass was at 11 a.m. Monday, May 2, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Burial was at the Hondo Cemetery, Guadalupe Section.

James C. Park, age 79, of Sasakwa, OK, passed away March 28, 2005. He was born in Kingston, OK, Aug. 11, 1925. Funeral service was Wednesday, Mar. 30, at Criswell Chapel with Rev.
Mickey Keith officiating. Interment followed in Swan Hill Cemetery.

Arthur L. Rains, age 72, of Hondo passed away on Saturday, Apr. 9, 2005. He was born in Wellington, KS, on Oct. 11, 1934. He was retired from the military.
No service is scheduled.

Angelique Danette Riou, age 22, of San Antonio, entered into rest April 13, 2005. Angelique was born March 4, 1983 in San Antonio. Angelique was preceded in death by her loving mother, Diana Jo Norman, her precious little brother, Trevor Elliott.
Visitation for Angelique, her mother and brother was at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home Sunday, April 17. A rosary for them was recited Sunday at 7 p.m. at St. Louis Catholic Church, Castroville. Funeral Mass was held Monday, April 18, 10:30 a.m., at St. Louis Catholic Church. Interment was at St. Louis Catholic Cemetery, Castroville.

Lydia Pearl Sapp, age 74, passed away, April 9, 2005. She was born in Rockdale, on Dec. 22, 1930. Funeral service at 4 p.m. Thursday, Apr. 14, at the Guinn-Horger Chapel. Interment at the Hondo Cemetery, Oakwood Section.

Leslie Charles Frank Schlentz age 83, of Hondo passed away, Apr. 4, 2005. He was a farmer. He was born in Hondo, on Aug. 19, 1921. Funeral service was at 2 p.m. Thursday, Apr. 7, at the Guinn-Horger Chapel. Interment was at the Hondo Cemetery, Oak-wood Section.

Henry Peter Van de Putte Sr., age 81, of Castroville, passed away Apr. 22, 2005, in San Antonio. Henry was born Jan. 25, 1924 in San Antonio. Visitation was Monday, April 25, prior to the Funeral Service at 2 p.m. at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home. Interment with military honors was at St. Louis Catholic Cemetery in Castroville. Following the interment, a memorial celebration was held at the Medina Valley Moose Lodge, 1915 Hwy 90 West, in Castroville.

Johanna Heesakkers Vandermeulen, age 75, of San Antonio passed away April 20, 2005, at her home. She was born in Eindhoven, Holland, on May 10, 1929. Visitation was Sunday, Apr. 24. A Graveside Service was held Monday, April 25, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Louis Cemetery.

Homer C. Verstuyft of San Antonio, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2005, at the age of 97. He was born July 30, 1907 in San Antonio. Rosary was at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 12 and Funeral Mass was offered at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, with both services being at St. John Berchmans Catholic Church. Interment followed in San Fernando Archdiocesan Cemetery No. 2.

Nancy Elizabeth Van de Putte Wade passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2005. Memorial service at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 7, at Reconciliation Episcopal Church with Rev. James Folts and Rev. Robert Woody officiating.

Clarence P. Wurzbach, age 87, of Rio Medina passed away April 24, 2005, in San Antonio. Clarence was born March 17, 1918, in the Cliff Community. Visitation was Wednesday at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home with Mass of
