Lenroe Allen “Pete” Beicker was born September 17, 1931, in the Capote Community of Guadalupe Co.
He departed this life Jan. 13, 2013, at age 81.
Funeral services were Jan. 15 at Emanuel’s Lutheran Church with Rev. Paul J. Zwarich officiating.
Interment with military honors under the auspices of the American Legion H. U. Wood Post #245 followed in San Geronimo Cemetery.

Doris Ernestine Boyd, age 82 of Bigfoot, Texas passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2013 in San Antonio, Texas.

He was born May 25, 1922, in Connellsville, PA.

He was born September 26, 1930 in San Antonio, the oldest of four children.

Irene Pauline Poerner Fohn was born December 4, 1916, in D’Hanis.

Gilbert Eugenio Gonzales, age 63 of Moore, passed away January 19, 2013, at home.

Richard Charles Harrison, age 48 and a resident of Hondo, passed away January 2, 2013.

She was born June 29, 1913, in Hondo.

Leslie Maurice Jordan Sr., age 96 of Fort Worth, a retired American Airlines pilot, made his last journey January 23, 2013.

Vincent William “Babe” Keller, entered rest January 2, 2013, at the age of 93.
He was born October 8, 1919, in LaCoste.

Hogan Pelton, age 92, a resident of Hondo and Castroville and formerly of Hot Springs Village, AR, passed away Jan. 2, 2013.
He was born March 6, 1920, in Benton, AR.
A private memorial service will be held in his hometown of Benton at Kirk in the Pines, Hot Springs Village, AR.

Martin Rogelio “Roy” Perez, age 66, went to be with the Lord January 19, 2013.
He was born Aug 19, 1946, in Hondo.

Emanuel Guadalupe Requena, infant son of Alfredo and Yolanda Requena of Dunlay, passed away January 8, 2013.
He was born January 6, 2013, one of a set of twins.
He is survived by his parents; his twin brother; four other brothers and a sister.
Funeral Mass was Jan. 12 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
Graveside service followed at Hondo Cemetery.

William Grant Riley Sr., age 93 of San Antonio, passed away January 24, 2013.
He was born November 30,1919, in Devine.
A memorial service was held Feb. 9 at Northwest Hills Baptist Church.
Pastor Glenn Thigpen officiated.

Christopher Rodriguez Jr., infant son of Anna Fonseca and Christopher Rodriguez Sr., was born and passed on to be with our Lord January 31, 2013. He is survived by his parents; and grandparents, Roland and Martha Rodriguez, Adam and Clara Piña, and Mike Fonseca.
Interment was in Hondo Cemetery.

Juan L. Ruiz, age 64, passed on to be with our Lord Jan. 1, 2013.

Zola Beth Boren Schueling, age 82 of D’Hanis, was born Dec. 30, 1930.
Her life on this earth ended Jan. 15, 2013.

Julia Erna Mann Stiegler, age 93 of Hondo, passed away January 14, 2013.
She was born Aug. 22, 1919, in Hondo.

Verna Belle Katherine Benke Steubing passed away at home on the family farm in Hondo January 30, 2013, surrounded by her 10 children and their families.
She was born Sept. 29, 1927, in Helotes.
A memorial service was held Feb. 3 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Hondo.
Interment held at a later date.

Marion H. “Billy” Tschirhart, age 92 of Castroville, passed away Jan. 2, 2013, in San Antonio, just three days before his 93rd birthday.
He was born Jan. 5, 1920, in Castroville.

Joseph Lawrence “Joe L.” Schott, 79, passed away quietly at his home in Castroville May 10, 2013, with his loving wife of 57 years by his side.
Visitation at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home 5-8:30 p.m. Thursday, May 16, with a memorial service at 7 p.m.
Interment of his ashes will be at a later date at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery with military honors.
